The first BLS-AED (Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillators) has just been concluded with great success on Sunday 7 April 2019 in the Municipality of Kalamaria. Dozens of citizens have been trained in theory and practice on prividing first aid and particularly on basic life support and use of automated external defibrillators.
The seminars are all certified by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) by granting the relevant certification, while the admission to the seminars is free of charge as the action is implemented within the project Heart Safe Cities.
This seminar constitutes the very first one in a series of seminars which will be implemented during 2019-2020 and organised by the 4th Health District of Macedonia and Thrace in cooperation with the Municipality of Kalamaria in the framework of Heart Safe Cities.
